There was a little girl who wishes upon a falling star. She said that "God, please let me have a good friend and a good dream that I can dream."
She was a crybaby that did not have a proper life as a normal little kid since her family always move. She never stay in one place more than 1 year. She always have to said goodbye to her friends and never been able to meet them again. Her life became tough when she did not get along very well with her family.
Eventhough, she had a happy day with her family but she never know what is the feeling to be surrounded by friends.
After a few years, the little girl has grown up. She had forgotten her wishes when she was a child. One day, when she went to a family vacation. Late night, she was so bored. She took her laptop and go down to the hotel lobby. There, she open a website call 'youtube'.
She just randomly searching for her favorite song. Then suddenly she come across this video. She was surprised that many people had done a dance cover for her favorite song. Not knowing why. Her heart skip a beat.
Since that day, she has been dreaming of dancing to her favorite song. So she ask her friend opinion. Her friend had encourage her to make a dance video. Few weeks later, 6 of her dance video come up on the youtube. She was surprised by the people reaction.
She had been received a warm welcome on the youtube. A smile appear on her face. A smile that has not been seen for such a long time.
After a year, she suddenly have many fans all around the world. But she does not want to call them as fans. She rather call them as FRIENDS. Since she does not have many friends, she really happy to see many people that support her from all over the world.
But then, something terrible happen. There is something that hold her back from dancing. That year had been a tough year for her. She had cried, smile and cried again. What makes the matter worse is that her very own friends, which had been with her for half of her life back-stab her. But at that time, she does not want to say anything and just be friend with her.
Few days later, she learn that she is not alone after all. Her classmate had been supported her all this days. Since then they had been a good friends.
After the tough year, its time for her to further her study in college. Things are not going well there. Her dancing becomes a problem again. After a long and hard days, she decided to delete her youtube.
At that very moment, she had been crying for the whole week. She cry, cry and cry. Nothing can make her heart feels better. But since that day, she hardly cry.
After few months, she got back home for her semester break. Suddenly she got accepted into a University. She had no choice but to go and further her study there. She does not want to disobey her family.
When she got into the university, she sees a chance to revive back her youtube. She make a decision to make a new youtube. Eventhough many people had found her back but she also lost most of her friend in the youtube.
She is trying hard to make herself shine like she used to be one years ago. Many things happen to her. During her days to recover herself, she learn a very important things. FRIENDS are the most precious things a person had.
But at then time she realize that, it was too late. She was already 19. She look back behind her. All she could see is a dark path. Not even her shadow is willing to be with her. She regrets that she does not have many friends. She blame her family for always moving and live in a strict life.
She never had a chance to go out and have fun with her friends for 17 years. She can only go out when she was 18 but that was too late because the school had end and she had to move to new place.
One day, on her everyday life, she was listening to her favorite song. There was a lyrics that make her realize something. Something important that she could not see for all this time.
Once again, she try to look back. Suddenly the dark path had dissapear. There was her shadow there. She smile.But what makes her smile is not because of her shadow, but she can finally see that actually there was many people that was willing to support her when she fall. There was a tears in her eyes.
She try to stay strong so that all of her friend would be happy. She did not want to see her friends to get hurts just because she was not strong enough.
She had become much stronger when she got a new friends from Philipines. It was another reason for her to stay smile everyday.
She try so hard to live a happy life, smile everyday evethough its hurt, laughing eventhough she is dying inside. All of that just because of her friends.
Even now, she still look at the sky and wishes upon a falling star. But this time her wishes had change.
"God, please make all my friends life shining with light. Make them always smile and taste the sweets of chocolates. And.. please, please makes OUR dreams come true."
She now realize, life is not just about her. But its about all the people around her. And yes, that girl is ME.
Never assume yourself lonely, the road still goes on there will be no end. who knows, during your journey through the road, you'll find, not one but many precious person that will shine your life. so live your life to the fullest but remember there is still one thing we have to hold onto, our creator :)
